{"id":1357,"date":"2012-09-04T12:00:36","date_gmt":"2012-09-04T17:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pastorfrog.com\/?p=1357"},"modified":"2012-09-04T15:28:07","modified_gmt":"2012-09-04T20:28:07","slug":"and-presence-under-the-tree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pastorfrog.com\/?p=1357","title":{"rendered":"And Presence Under the Tree"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Luke 2:1-7<\/strong> <em>At that time the Roman emperor, Augustus, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. <sup>2<\/sup>(This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria.) <sup>3<\/sup>All returned to their own ancestral towns to register for this census. <sup>4<\/sup>And because Joseph was a descendant of King David, he had to go to Bethlehem in Judea, David\u2019s ancient home. He traveled there from the village of Nazareth in Galilee. <sup>5<\/sup>He took with him Mary, his fianc\u00e9e, who was now obviously pregnant.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><sup>6<\/sup>And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born. <sup>7<\/sup>She gave birth to her first child, a son.
