Revelation 15:1-4 Then I saw another great and astounding sign in heaven: seven angels who have seven final plagues (they are final because in them God’s anger is completed).

2Then I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who had conquered the beast and his image and the number of his name. They were standing by the sea of glass, holding harps given to them by God. 3They sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb: “Great and astounding are your deeds, Lord God, the All-Powerful! Just and true are your ways, King over the nations! 4Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name, because you alone are holy? All nations will come and worship before you
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

You Deserve to Die

Ephesians 2:4-10 But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us, 5even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you are saved!— 6and he raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9it is not from works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.

The Real Noah

You’ve surely seen a children’s book illustrations of Noah and the Ark or a nursery wall painting of a boat overstuffed with animals–with a giraffe head sticking out of the top and various other critters poking out here and there.  And that kind of a picture tends to make people wonder how in the world could 2 of every kind of animal fit on a boat.  But the problem is that most of the images you’ve seen don’t comport at all with reality.  Noah’s Ark was a massive cargo ship.  And when you look at it from a scientific standpoint there was more than enough room for all the animals, food, supplies, fresh water (if needed), and a shuffleboard court or whatever you might like some extra deck space for.  Take a listen and picture what the real story of Noah paints for you.

Amos: The American Prophet

How much do you know about your government?  Thanks to the NSA they know a lot about you.  It’s interesting how a government of the people tends to reflects the values of the culture that they govern.  So if society turns away from morality and virtue, guess what’s going to happen to the government?  And this is nothing new.  In fact a guy in the Bible named Amos had a little something to say about what’s happening in our society today.

Trust & Obey

Trust & Obey–two great tastes that taste great together.  If you know God very well at all, then you know he’s not just looking for drones to go out and do his bidding like a bunch of worker bees.  Everything that he has done for us has been in the attempt to build and maintain a relationship.  It’s amazing to think how far God is willing to go to demonstrate his love.  And when you really understand that, it’s one of the biggest motivators for wanting to live your life for Him.  It’s like when you’re dating and you’re willing to do pretty much anything to impress somebody that you like.  But the difference is, God already knows everything about you, and he still loves you more than you can imagine.  That kind of love is worth investing your life in!

The Winter Olympics are well under way.  And the world’s fastest, strongest, highest flying, and most talented individuals are competing in the snow and ice of Russia.  But there’s a man who outdid them all when it comes to pure strength.

You’ve probably heard of Samson, and some of his “strengths” and weaknesses.  But what do you know about his faith?  Have a listen, and see what you think.

Heart Cleaning

Can God really love everybody?  There are some pretty rotten people in this world.  Would God really be willing to reach out to the worst of the worst.

Like many people, maybe you’ve even wondered if God cares about you.

Have a listen to this week’s message and hear how God dealt with one of the most wicked sinners in the Bible.

A Space Shuttle that Builds Itself

The miracle of human development is staggeringly complex.  The changes and growth that take place even in the first day following conception are simply amazing–much less the developmental changes that occur in the following weeks and months.  To be able to see what is taking place on a microscopic level reveals Darwinian evolution as a biological absurdity.  Of course the Bible reveals the truth of God’s amazing creation even without the ability we now have to see the intricate mechanics of early development.  But the more capabilities we develop for scientific understanding of what happens in a mother’s womb, the more clear it should become that abortion at any stage is so obviously the destruction of a human being, and that all members of the human race have the same God given rights regardless of their level of development or ability.
